only 3 days into my HCG shots for weight loss and I had a positive preg test. can this be?

The amount of HCG that are in those shots isn’t high enough for it to cause a pregnancy test to be positive. You need to stop the HCG diet because you possibly are pregnant. Congrats. Go to your doctor and get it confirmed for sure and until you know for sure you need to stop the diet because it is harmful to diet like that while pregnant. Good luck to you.
